I recently read an article about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it was discussing how retailers seem to expand the timeline each year so what used to be a one off sales day is now close to a full week of ‘too good to miss’ discounts.
Great news for retailers maximising their sales period and great news for consumers rushing for their annual bargains. But we must not be naïve to the fact this rush of increased traffic to websites is also great news for people trying to steal your data!
In this increasingly digital world we are all aware of the online risks, however we merrily enter our card details to bag our bargains each year.
So this is just a quick reminder that when the rush of excitement of buying that new UHD 4K TV in time for Christmas takes over, be aware of where you are entering your data. Or even better, be savvy.
